IMPLEMETASI MASYARAKAT SADAR WISATA MELALUI PEMANTAPAN BAHASA INGGRIS PARIWISATA UNTUK PEMUDA-PEMUDI DESA PENGLIPURAN

Abstract

Mastery of English Tourism is very important in the world of tourism such as hotels, restaurants and spas. This community service was carried out in Penglipuran Tourism Village, Bangli which was implemented in Tourism English training. This activity aimed to improve Tourism English skills for teenagers in Penglipuran Tourism Village, Bangli. It can be held by the collaboration between the community of Penglipuran Tourism Village and the English Study Program, University of Bali Dwipa. This training method used Communicative Language Teaching for Secondary Level. Practically, this activity concerned health protocols during the training. The participants actively participated in the Tourism English conversation as well as an in-depth understanding of tenses, listening, and reading. English conversations are practiced directly interactively between participants and teachers so that the teacher's team can directly monitor the development of their students. The post-test score can be used to trace students' strengths and weaknesses and used as an evaluation for participants and teachers. Overall, The results showed that the participants' English skills in reading, listening and speaking increased by 50 to 90%.
