Sosialisasi Manfaat Vaksinasi dan Protokol Kesehatan dalam Pencegahan Pandemi Covid-19 di Desa Ponggang, Kecamatan Serangpanjang, Subang

Abstract

With the lack of public awareness to overcome the Covid-19, it is necessary to socialize the benefits of Covid 19 vaccines. This activity is carried out as an effort to increase public awareness in maintaining health protocols. Therefore, this community service aims to provide knowledge about the use of vaccination as body immunity and the implementation of Covid 19 protocols in preventing the Covid-19 pandemic. The socialization consisted of the benefits of vaccines, implementation of health protocols, and prevention of Covid 19. The method which is used was speech and it delivered to the headmen and the community about the benefits of vaccination and the importance of implementing health protocols. The results of this community service showed the level of trust and enthusiasm was high, previously the people who people participated in the vaccination were only 75 people, after being given socialization, the participants increased to 314 people and until now it has reached 900 people. However, this figure was still not comparable because 1,600 people did not participate in vaccination. Continuous socialization is the key to solve this problem so that the vaccination will be trusted, and people are willing to vaccinate and carry out health protocols by their awareness.
