Pelatihan Pengolahan Sampah dan Bisnis Dropship di Kelurahan Tanjungmekar - Karawang

Abstract

Tanjungmekar is one of the 8 (eight) Suburbans in the west district of Karawang. It is also a part of an industrial area in which families and youths make a living from companies around.  Tanjungmekar is bordered by the Citarum river. It makes this a flood-prone area. The activities of the housewives in this area are less productive. They often spend the day talking and making gossip. Ironically, neither men nor women care about a flood, they still throw garbage carelessly. Based on this problem, the lecturer of Bhayangkara University took the initiative to conduct a community service of Waste Management and Dropship Business System. The training was given to the residents of RW 02 and RW 03 Tanjungmekar, West Karawang, especially a group of women empowering family welfare (PKK).  The purpose of this activity is to provide waste management skills and business skills with a dropship system. This activity was expected to develop the activities of a group of PKK in processing waste to be a good quality product. Besides, it can help to improve the family's economy by doing a dropshipping system.
